By accessing or using the Schemify website at schemify.in (the "Site") or any of the schema generation tools available on it (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or Services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site. Your continued use of the Site following any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Plain English: Using Schemify means you agree to these rules. They're straightforward basically, use the tool fairly, don't misuse it, and understand it comes without warranties.

2. Description of Service

Schemify provides a collection of free, browser-based JSON-LD schema markup generators. These tools allow users to generate structured data markup for use on their own websites. Current tools include generators for FAQ, Article, Product, Local Business, Recipe, Event, Review, Job Posting, Course, Organization, Website, Software Application, Breadcrumb, HowTo, Video, and Person schema types, among others.

All schema generation happens entirely within the user's web browser. No form data or personal information is transmitted to Schemify's servers during the generation process.

Schemify reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

3. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, Schemify grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site and Services for lawful purposes. You may:

  • Use the schema generators freely for personal, commercial, or client projects
  • Copy, download, and implement the generated JSON-LD output on any website you own or manage
  • Share links to Schemify's generators with others
  • Reference Schemify's educational content (blog posts, guides) with appropriate attribution
  • Use Schemify as part of your workflow as an SEO professional, developer, or marketer

There is no limit on the number of times you may use the generators, and no account or registration is required.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Site or Services in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Involves scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from the Site using automated tools, bots, or scripts without prior written permission
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Site
  • Interferes with, disrupts, or creates an undue burden on the Site or the networks or services connected to it
  • Reproduces, duplicates, copies, sells, or resells any portion of the Site's content, design, or functionality without prior written permission
  • Impersonates Schemify or falsely implies endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with Schemify
  • Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software used to provide the Services
  • Uses the Services to generate schema for pages containing illegal content, malware, phishing material, or content that violates third-party rights
  • Introduces viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious or harmful material into the Site

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your right to use the Site and may expose you to legal liability.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content (excluding user-generated schema output), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Schemify and its licensors. This includes, without limitation:

  • The Schemify name, logo, and brand identity
  • The design, layout, and visual appearance of the Site
  • All blog posts, guides, articles, and educational content published on the Site
  • The underlying software and code that powers the generators

Our content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our proprietary materials without prior written consent, except as permitted under these Terms.

Schema.org vocabulary and the JSON-LD specification are open standards maintained by the W3C and Schema.org community. Schemify does not claim ownership over these standards.

6. Your Schema Output

The JSON-LD code generated by Schemify's tools based on the information you provide belongs entirely to you. Schemify makes no claim of ownership over any schema markup you generate using our tools.

You are free to use the generated output on any website, in any project, for any purpose commercial or otherwise without restriction or attribution to Schemify.

In short: What you generate is yours. Copy it, use it, sell it as part of your services we don't mind and we don't need credit.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the schema output you implement on your website is accurate, up to date, and compliant with Google's structured data guidelines and any applicable laws. Schemify is a tool; responsibility for correct implementation lies with you.

7. Disclaimers

Schemify provides the Site and Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Schemify disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Any warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the generated schema output
  • Any warranty that the generated schema will produce rich results in Google Search or any other search engine
  • Any warranty that the generated schema will remain compliant with future changes to Google's guidelines or the Schema.org specification

Schema markup eligibility for rich results is determined entirely by Google. Schemify has no control over Google's indexing decisions, algorithm changes, or rich result display logic. Generating valid schema with our tools does not guarantee that rich results will appear for your pages.

Important: Always validate your generated schema using Google's Rich Results Test before publishing. Schema.org standards and Google's requirements change over time check periodically to ensure your implementation remains current.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Schemify and its owners, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Services. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data or inability to recover data
  • Loss of goodwill or reputation
  • Any SEO impact, ranking changes, or search visibility loss resulting from implementing generated schema
  • Costs of procuring substitute services
  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the generated schema output

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, Schemify's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Since Schemify is a free service with no paid plans, our aggregate liability shall not exceed zero in any event.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or resources such as Google's Rich Results Test, Schema.org documentation, or external blog references. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

Schemify has no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites and assumes no responsibility for them. Accessing any third-party website linked from our Site is at your own risk. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

Links to third-party resources do not imply endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with those sites or their operators.

10. Termination

Since Schemify does not require user accounts, there is no account to terminate. However, Schemify reserves the right to restrict or block access to the Site and Services for any user or IP address that is found to be in violation of these Terms or engaging in abusive, harmful, or disruptive behaviour including but not limited to automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or repeated policy violations.

We reserve the right to discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time without notice. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes those that significantly affect your rights or obligations will be communicated via a notice on the Site.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Site.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Schemify's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
